Therefore They Shall Know…

Living a life of sin is a much harder life than need be. Everything is out of order, it takes twice as long to get anything done and there is never anyone loving in that life. Oh sure, there are people that come and go like the wind, but there is nothing of substance. The handful of people that make it to the “other side” as a person goes from dark to light are the people that will be there until this world ends.

When engulfed in darkness it’s difficult to see it, feel it or experience it – it just is. Like a fish in the ocean, the fish has no idea he is in water, the fish simply knows he is where he is. The moment that we accept our life is built on sin and there is no other way out, except through the redeeming power of Jesus Christ, is not a good time. It was not a time of celebration or joy. No, it was a time filled with indescribable pain, weakness and sadness unlike anything ever experienced. As the time continued and the darkness began to turn to Light all the fear, guilt and shame, that kept the chains in place, began to fall away. This was a “flash point” or “miraculous moment”.

As the Light continued to grow the pain faded, weakness became His strength and sadness began to radiate His joy. The transition is one that every person should experience. If they did the Light of the world would be so bright it would never fade as it would only grow brighter with each passing day.

As God told us that He was sending His only begotten Son we refused to listen until we had no choice. As the greatest I Am is declared, who shall hear and who will bow before Him?

Isiah 52 NKJV

5 Now therefore, what have I here,” says the Lord,
“That My people are taken away for nothing?
Those who rule over them
Make them wail,” says the Lord,
“And My name is blasphemed continually every day.
6 Therefore My people shall know My name;
Therefore they shall know in that day
That I am He who speaks:
‘Behold, it is I.’ ”
7 How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voices,
With their voices they shall sing together;
For they shall see eye to eye
When the Lord brings back Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together,
You waste places of Jerusalem!
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
