What Do You Hear…
When the trumpet sounds, what do you hear? The drum goes *boom* what do you hear? When the world falls silent what do you hear?
In the days before electricity and motorized anything the world was fairly quiet. If a person stepped away, say 10 minutes, from a “city”, town or any place where commerce was being conducted, it seems like the world would be as quiet as quiet could be. One could probably hear their own heartbeat with little effort. It’s hard to imagine what could be seen and heard in a world without electricity and motors / engines?
When walking down the street without another person walking at our side, what do we hear? Is it possible to hear what is inside instead of outside? The opportunities to listen, be still and be quiet abound. The world doesn’t have to quieten down, we do. The noise engulfing our world is there to distract us from what is real, what is True and the Way that Lights our path. I’ve heard it said we are to walk by faith, not by sight…

Once a person reaches this place, it is a force that can no longer be harmed in any manner. God has given us the Spirit as a guarantee! Let that sink in. Once we see with God’s mind and hear with God’s heart Jesus Christ guarantees the Holy Spirit is with us.
Who doesn’t have the desire to be showered in the Love of the Lord to the point of seeing the path He made for us, hearing the words He speaks to us? Who doesn’t want to be in this place?
What do we hear, what do we see?
