Candace Owens: Trump Tweet About ‘The Squad’ Is ‘100% Truth;’ ‘Stop Defending These Racists’ By Craig Bannister for CNS News
“Stop defending these racists,” conservative commentator and Blexit leader Candice Owens urged on Twitter Monday, referring to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) “Squad” of far-left Democrat congresswomen.
Owens was replying to a tweet by President Donald Trump declaring The Squad “a very racist group of troublemakers.” In voicing her agreement with Trump, Owens pointed to a racial slur about Trump advisor KellyAnne Conway made by The Squad’s Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.):
“This is 100% truth. The media ignored @AyannaPressley referring to KellyAnne Conway as “Becky”—a RACIST perjorative.
“They’ve ignored @AOC’s multiple RACIST attacks on ANY white person that questions her.
@IlhanMN openly HATES Jewish people.
“Stop defending these RACISTS!”
On July 9, Pressley referred to Conway as “Becky,” a slur of white women, NewsWeek reports:

The term “Becky,” used to disparage so-called “basic” white women, gained national notoriety in the 1992 hip-hop classic “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Two white women can be heard saying, “Oh, my, God Becky, look at her butt/ It is so big, she looks like/ One of those rap guys’ girlfriends,” at the outset of the iconic song.
