Father, Son And Holy Ghost – Numbers 6
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. ~ Numbers 6:22-27 KJB
This chapter begins with the Lord, our God, speaking to Moses about the Nazarites. The Lord explains how a Nazarite is to separate themselves from the others, how they are to live and even how they are to appear to the family and community.
While the whole process of becoming and being a Nazarite is short lived it’s a very big deal.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
The Nazarite produce a view of lent – we give up worldly life for a period of time. We make a vow to God in the presence of God and a priest to give up worldly things. If we fall short of our vow there are consequences. However, a righteous humbling ask of forgiveness, along with confession and repentance sets it straight in the eyes of the Lord. Of course, this does not allow for us to half-hearted make a vow as the Lord, our God, knows our intent going into the vow.
When we reach the end of the time we have committed to giving up worldly things the Lord, our God, has a blessing for our life. The Blessing are the words at the top. It gives us a glimpse of the coming Messiah, the Christ, Lord of lords, Savior, Son of God.
