Ye Know In All Your Hearts…
It’s easy to love the Lord, our God, when times are easy. It’s easy to say that we will keep His covenant and His laws when their is a gentle breeze and bright sunshine upon our face. The Israelites proved this time and again as they traveled the desert in their long season before entering the land of milk and honey. The Israelites also proved, beyond question, that when the gentle breeze has become a roaring wind and the sunshine upon their face has turned to a driving storm that we forget who is in charge, who is making the law and who we follow. We forget the Lord, our God, is still in charge and the sunshine will return. We forget that His ways are higher than ours and, most importantly, we forget to love God with all our heart, with our strength and with all our mind.
And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. ~ Joshua 23:14 KJB
We forget that God provides the breath in our lungs, the water in our jugs and the food upon our table. We forget the roof over head, conveniences in our travels and luxuries we enjoy are because of His mercy and love for us. When we forget this should God remind us He is in charge? Should God remind us, through His actions, we have gone astray or should God just allow us to continue to wander in the darkness of our own creation?

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you. ~ Joshua 23:16 KJB
When we are children and we did something against our parents did they not discipline us? Did they discipline us out of hatred or from a place of love for us? Did our parents want us to be safe and protected from harm while we have been provided all we need to be successful?
The sad reality is not all of us had this in our lives. This should not be allowed to become a handicap as an adult. We are still just as important, just as loved and worth fighting for as the one whom God granted both parents an environment of nurturing love. Those of us that did not have both parents are still a child of God, equally loved as everyone else. Equally under the same Wing of Jesus Christ as everyone else under His Wing and equally chosen just as anyone else who has been chosen. A lot of us just need to hear the testimony of another in order for us to fully grasp this Truth.
As a matter of fact, those who begin their life’s journey in a barren land have usually been given a set of tools that others have not received. The fight is real and God knows this. Our God will not leave any of us behind no matter the circumstance. It may appear to be a struggle that others do not face, but rest assured that God is in the struggle with each of us and we need to focus on the beauty of God, see the beauty rising from the ashes and embrace the hardship where Jesus Christ is waiting to save us.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. ~ Joshua 24:15 KJB
Whom will you serve today and all the days forevermore?
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
