BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND

BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND by Randolph Jason for Gospel News Network

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. ~ Romans 12:2-5 NKJB

We are of one another. Jesus Christ is in God and God is in Jesus. Those who have been baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of their life, Jesus lives in them. We live in Them as They live in us. We are a member of the Body of Christ and we are a member of one-another in Christ.

Our lives are suppose to change at this moment. We are suppose to live for Jesus Christ, but we don’t because we are warring with our flesh, our sinful nature. Seeking God first in all of our thoughts changes this. As our conviction to Christ grows and our practice of thought grows we begin to change. We, however, will never be perfect. But, by the grace of God, things will get better.

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. ~ John 17:20-23

Paul seems to echo what Jesus had said as both were explaining how we are in Jesus and Jesus is in us and we are in one another as God is in Jesus and Jesus in God and They in us as we are in Them. We are all one.
