I Will Tell You Plainly About The Father…
It’s true that life is a series of newness. We actually like learning new things. Some people struggle with admitting this fact, but it is true. We should be constantly learning new things, learning how to do new things and expanding our mind. If all goes well, we will be doing these things in the midst of Jesus Christ with the guidance from the Holy Spirit. If all goes well we will seek first Jesus Christ and follow His will in throughout our day.
Why would this not apply to our walk with Jesus Christ? If we are seeking, asking and knocking upon the door of Holy Spirit, who, in the absence of Jesus Christ, provides our Comfort and Counsel, if we are living in the grace of God, then we should draw nearer to Jesus Christ every day. We should separate = sin less and less. Our hearts should be softened and filled with joy more often. This is good news.
“These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” ~John 16:25-28 NKJB

This is our break-through moment! Jesus speaks plainly to us and we can hear, we can see and we love our Father who loves us and gave us Jesus Christ to love and believe Him. This is the most beautiful day in our life. This is the day we should talk about with our friends, family and neighbors.
His disciples said to Him, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God.” ~ John 16:29-30 NKJB
When we need a way of breaking-the-ice with someone new why wouldn’t this be a great opening? “Say, would like to have your life back?” “Howdy, ever thought about waking up in a new life?” “How would you like to know a secret about your life?” “Would you be able to spare a couple of minutes to learn how to know everything there is to know about everything?”
Plain, simple, direct.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
