He Is Faithful and Righteous…

As we blow our trumpets in the name of the Lord we light His torch to make the path clear. We follow our God where He sends us and we bring our entourage as He has directed. The men arise in the assured Victory of the Lord. We carry His banner for the world to see and give our God all the praise, all the glory and all the honor for surely He has won our Victory for us.

We pray throughout the day to keep the enemy at bay. We pray for others to keep the enemy away from our friends and family. We pray for others to keep the enemy away from our neighbors as we would pray for ourselves.

The Victory the Lord has won was fought before we were born. We must walk in the assurance that we are His sons and daughters. It is when we misstep that our minds are no longer renewing in the perfect, good and acceptable will of our God. When our minds are renewed and transformed we are able to seek, ask and knock to receive thoughts that are the Mind of Christ. The Holy Spirit fills us, walks with us and lives in us so why wouldn’t we accept this fact, why wouldn’t we rest in this knowledge?

We can not do this if we are living in sin, if we are not confessing our sins, one to another in the presence of God, we will seek, ask and knock but we will not find, He will not respond nor open the door.

If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. ~ 1 John 1:8-10 NASB95

We seek our Father’s forgiveness in community. We ask for guidance in the presence of others while God Himself sits by our side. We knock upon the door of righteousness in order to show others where the handle resides that they, too, may feel the presence of the Lord’s Light shining through their heart to fill others. This is our prayer for this day.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
