Even To Those Who Believe In His Name…
Sometimes the Words simply jump off the page into our hearts to present the fullness of breath that fills our lungs with the Love of Jesus Christ. When our hearts open, the Words of God pierce us to the marrow and keeps our mind focused on Christ.
Serving others is serving Jesus Christ. When we serve other people, especially those less fortunate than ourselves, we are doing the bidding of our God. We are caring for our God, we are spreading the Good News that love is winning the day. If it is only for that day, so be it.
Here’s a simple plan of action that spreads the Gospel, the Good News, everyday of our lives. When we awaken, we pray. When we are having coffee, we pray. When we awaken our spouse, our children, we pray. When the day gets started and encounter another person we great them in the Spirit of God. Every time we encounter another person we greet them in the Spirit of God. If we come across another person that is in need, we stop and, at the very least, acknowledge their presence in the name of Jesus Christ. If we can help, we help and pray.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
The next day repeat what is described above and before we have a clue what is happening or has happened we have strung together multiple days, then multiple weeks followed by multiple years. It’s not hard or very complicated, it merely requires discipline…hmmm… that brings to mind a derivative of the word discipline…which is, disciple.
We are to testify about the Light, as we are not the Light, but the Light will shine through us if we stop blocking it and make room in our heart, in our mind, in our strength and in our soul.
There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. ~ John 1:6-7 NASB95
Testify, share the Word of the Lord, share your good fortune with others, share the love that is in your heart.
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. ~ John 1:10-13 NASB95
We are not of this world and we should act like it. We should sound like it and people around us should know and come to realize we are not from this world and we are not of this world. Those that are called, we are Ambassadors of the Kingdom. Those that are born, not of flesh, but of God, are not of this world. We should stop acting like we are connected to this world and begin acting like we are Ambassadors to the King of kings.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
