Jesus, Mediator Of A New Covenant

Jesus, Mediator Of A New Covenant

Good morning sovereign son of God, in whom there is a thirst that can only be quenched at the deepest level by the Word of our Lord.

Almighty God, Father of All, we come before You, a humble servant, seeking Your Word that fills our soul. We give all praise and honor and glory to You. It is Your hallowed Name that delivered the Kingdom of God to earth. Almighty God, we humbly ask that You search our mind and rebuke all the words, phrases that are not from You, rebuke them all in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Almighty God, leave no space void, fill it with the Holy Spirit. Almighty God, we ask that You soften our heart that we walk in honor of You renewing our mercies in this day.

Almighty God, Father of All, we give You our lives as we seek Your care and Your will. We listen for Your still small voice to guide and direct us in this day, the day the Lord has made. Father God, what do You want us to do? Father God, what do You want us to know? Almighty God, You sent Your one and only Son to pay for the sins of this world. We can never repay this debt. All we can offer, Almighty God, is that You strengthen us that we may forgive others, as You have so mercifully forgiven us. We are grateful to be washed clean in the blood of Jesus Christ. We ask Jesus to lead us out of temptation and direct our path away from the evil one.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel. ~ hebrews 12:22-24 NASB95

Almighty God, Father of All, we thirst for the Living Water that flows from Your Word. Almighty God, let Your Living Water fill Erik’s muscles, fill Erik’s lungs and fill his heart. Lift him, Almighty God, from from this bed, make him to run out of this hospital, leaping with joy in the name of the Lord. Let Erik’s voice to heard throughout this hospital to ring clear through the hearts of the care takers. Almighty God, let Your loving hands be the hands of the care takers, touch their heart that they may know You are real and You are present. Fill their hearts with such overwhelming love they must come home to You. Let heaven surround Erik, surround Christy and their entire family. Let Your Power, Your Strength and Your Living Word be the guide for all in this day and all the days forevermore.
