When We Come Together…
Sin equals separation. When we come together, in the presence of God, we have the ability to change nations, change the entire world and reset history. We can even do it with the people we have been told are our enemy. We can even do it with people we have been told are “not the right kind of people”. Can someone please ask Jesus Christ who He says “are not the right kind of people”? We need to know so we can avoid them altogether. Oh…that’s right He never said anything like that, but to love ourselves as our neighbor. That kinda puts a damper on the whole idea of “not the right kind of people”.
Then Joshua the son of Nun sent two men as spies secretly from Shittim, saying, “Go, view the land, especially Jericho.” So they went and came into the house of a harlot [prostitute] whose name was Rahab, and lodged there. ~Joshua 2:1 NASB95
Why are these spies for Joshua, man of God, going to the house of a prostitute? Are prostitutes on “God’s Team”? hmmm… Apparently so. We later learn, in the Gospels, that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that God does not create “prostitutes” He creates daughters that ACT like something they are not. If we listen to the enemy, the devil, he will steal our identity in Christ and rename us as something we are not. The devil will tells us lies. We are not what society calls us, we are not what the devil calls us, we are, in fact, what Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, God with us, we are who He calls us. Our identity is in Christ alone, nothing or no one else.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
When we are living in our Christ identity we have no enemies. We only have people around us that may be confused, may not be living in their Christ identity and we may be seeing them living in a false identity give to them by the devil. Once we come together, no longer separated, we can clearly see our neighbor. We can clearly see the identity of others given to them by God. The false identity is wrecked.
And the king of Jericho sent word to Rahab, saying, “Bring out the men who have come to you, who have entered your house, for they have come to search out all the land.” But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them, and she said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from. ~Joshua 2:3-4 NASB95
Rahab is no longer seen as a [prostitute] but seen as a woman, a daughter of God. She, along with the men from Israel, are all joined together in God. There is no separation one from the other nor is there any separation from God, they are all moving as one towards success.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
