We Know It’s From God…

Does prayer life paint pictures, tell stories and move our bones? Should this happen as we are going before God through Jesus Christ? When does the mind of Christ become part of our everyday life? If we seek, ask and knock upon the door of Christ bind our mind to the Mind of Christ, bind His will to our will and then act how can we know it’s from God? One way is that it will not be evil, negative and only be a benefit to our community and our world. It may be something very unfamiliar to us, but it will only be positive and a benefit – never, ever anything detrimental.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. ~1 Corinthians 2:12-13 NASB95

When we study the Spiritual, accept the Spiritual and live with the Holy Spirit in us it should be a desire to dive deeper into the Mind of Christ. How do we expand our heart, our knowledge base and better understand the Living Word unless we begin binding our mind with Christ?

This should be our priority in our Spiritual life – seeking a deeper richer understanding of the mind of Christ; asking for Christ’ wisdom in every aspect of our life and knocking upon the knock, constantly, to walk with Christ with every step taken.

But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. ~ 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 NASB95

We don’t teach Christ, He teaches us. The more time spent seeking God’s wisdom the deeper our relationship becomes, the tighter the bond between our mind and the Mind of Christ a more beautiful, richer life in Christ we will live.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
