Know What To Know…

Know What To Know…

How do I know what to know? How do I know what to know what to do? ~Jamie Winship

Hear my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. ~Psalm 61:1-2 NKJB

We can pray like David when we let go and let God.

When have to climb to higher places to know what is beyond our current knowledge. How do we know what to know? How do we know what we need to know to climb to that higher places? How do we reach for knowledge that is beyond our understanding?

What do we do? Ask, seek, knock? He will take us there – He has always taken us there. What is blocking us from God? What is the most used word in the Holy Bible? Fear? Could it be fear that is driving our entire life?

Where God wants to take us…we don’t even know how to ask how to get there because it’s a place we have never been before and we don’t know where it is!! Take us, Father God, to a Higher Rock, place our feet on this new solid ground and set us free.

Why are we believers? Is it simply to go to heaven? What about here and now? What about achieving new highs with God, what about serving God at a level never thought of, never known to exist, what about catching a glimpse of the understanding beyond all understanding? Is revealing this to us above God’s “pay grade” outside of what He would allow to achieve? Seriously?

For You, O God, have heard my vows;
You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.
You will prolong the king’s life,
His years as many generations. ~Psalms 61:5-6 NKJB

When do we begin to believe and set aside our fear? When do we honestly step into the Light of His love and allow it to increase our years as many generations?

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
