Walking With Jesus Christ…
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child. ~Matthew 1:18 NKJB
How do we respond to our dreams? Who is speaking to us in our dreams? How often do we seek, ask and knock upon the door of our dreams?
Joseph and Zacharias were men of God and were given visions – dreams – by angels from God. The Arch Angel, Gabriel, an angel that was named as he spoke to Zacharias. When Jesus Christ spoke directly to Saul, who would become Paul, Saul responded to Him and the first thing Saul did was to affirm that it was the Lord speaking to him saying, “Who are you, Lord?” Was Saul already walking with Jesus Christ and just didn’t know? You know, like so many of us do today?

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
People come into our lives for a brief moment, really nothing more than passing glance or short visit, a knock on the door from a salesman – each one bringing us a message from God. It is our response that determines the next step. Do we believe or not?
When a person knocks on your door, let’s say it’s a little ole lady somewhere around 70+ years, and she tells you about a program designed to make you a first time home owner is that a message from God or just random act? If one follows the trail and actually becomes a home owner based on this “random act” is that from God or simply an outcome of a coincidence? This actually happened.
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” ~Luke 1:26-28 NKJB
Was this just some random act, a coincidence? Mary just happened to receive a vision – a dream – about being “blessed among women”? Even Mary was scratching her head wondering what has happening and how it could happen and why it was happening to her.
But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. ~Like1:29-31 NKJB
What if we all acted like Saul / Paul and Mary? What if, when we received a vision, a dream, a “message” – maybe a knock on the door – what if we acted upon it? What if we pursued what just happened as happened with the woman knocking on the door explaining how to become a first time home buyer? What would happen in our world? How would our world be – what would become of our world? Keeping in mind, God is only capable of good. Anything that is not pure, good, honest and true is not from the Lord – it is the devil manipulating what we think. The devil can not read our thoughts, but he knows our weaknesses and has the ability to place something in our path to twist our thoughts to his liking instead of thinking Godly thoughts.
Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
