Good Men Doing Something…
It has been said before…The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. ~Edmund Burke
Let’s turn it around so that good men are a reflection of the Word of God. The only reason a tool has value is because it is used for it’s intended purpose.
We stand at a crossroads in our nation. Christians have God to thank, God to turn to and God’s strength and power to transform lives. We must turn to Him, we must be willing to lay our lives down for Him and we must praise Him the whole way through. If we don’t there are consequences for our actions and for our inaction.
Now is your chance to support Gospel News Network.
We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
I appointed watchmen over you and said,
‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’
But you said, ‘We will not listen.’
Therefore hear, you nations;
you who are witnesses,
observe what will happen to them.
Hear, you earth:
I am bringing disaster on this people,
the fruit of their schemes,
because they have not listened to my words
and have rejected my law.
~Jeremiah 6:16-19 NIB
It is time we bring God back to the conversation. It is time we bring God back into our communities. It is time we bring God back to our lives. If we don’t our world we be as a secular world or this religion world or a that religion world. We stand at the crossroads today.
Love always triumphs and God is still in charge.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. ~James 1:23-25 NKJB
Either the Gospel is divine inspiration, the Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
