Why Would Anyone Cross The Road…
Jesus Christ loves you, loves me and loves everyone else, He is never separated from us, we, on the other hand, separate ourselves from Him continuously.
Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” ~Luke 17:11-13 NKJB
Everyone, except Jesus, had already crossed the street to avoid the “unclean” people. Jesus simply saw His children asking for mercy.
Mercy is a word of wholeness. ~Jamie Winship Who doesn’t want to be whole in Christ Jesus? If someone doesn’t want that, they don’t know Jesus Christ and they need help in understanding who He is and why they need Him.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
Why wouldn’t we want to be more loving towards others? What has changed in our society that keeps us separated from one another which, in turn, creates separation from God? What has happened to our mercy – where did it go and when did it leave? Why don’t we simply cross the road and embrace our brothers and sisters in Christ? It really is that simple.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. ~Matthew 5:7 KJB
Afraid of the Wuhan virus? Well, isn’t Jesus Christ the cure for that fear? Afraid death will be at the door if the Wuhan virus finds it’s way into our life? Jesus Christ is the cure for death. Doesn’t Jesus Christ live in the pain? Doesn’t the cross come before the Crown? When we forget the orphans and the widows we throw mercy out the window.
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. ~James 1:25-27
Isn’t it time to go into those places where we find the unclean – the prison, the local rescue mission, the foster homes, the senior homes. You know, all the places where people are warehoused like used, unneeded furniture.
Either the Gospel is divine inspiration, the Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
