Do Not Fear: 1 Peter 3:13-16

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. ~ 1 Peter 3:13-16 KJB

Have you embraced your “do not fear” for the day?

As followers/believers in Jesus Christ who or what can harm us? We are called – with purpose – to live in the strength of Jesus and Jesus in us to serve His children. We are to act, speak and live accordingly.

Are we prepared – at the ready at all times – to speak about our faith to someone who is questioning or to someone who is attacking? What is our response? Not only are we to be prepared to speak but we should be prepared to act like Jesus in our response – humble, yet firm. Knowing but not arrogant. Confident yet grateful. In doing so we stand on the rock as they that attack sink into the abyss of their own making.
