Salvation Ensures We Are Saved – Possession Sends Us To Hell by Randolph Jason for Gospel News Network

When someone walks us through the Romans Road we are assured of our salvation, we are saved and we have told the Lord, Jesus Christ, that we believe, in our heart that we believe. We believe…without question.

We have all sinned – all of us. We are born sinners. We sin every single day of our life.

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJB

Once we realize, accept and admit that we are sinners we begin the process of healing. We have taken the first step (in recovery) on the road to salvation.

If we sin, over and over and over and never feel any regret we are on the road to hell. When we reject the Savior and tell the devil we believe the lies and accept the lies, we are on the road to hell and to die the death of sin.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJB

We can turn this around and stop living in sin. We can reject the lies and begin accepting Truth, walking in the Way of Jesus Christ and live eternal Life with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and all the Saints – all the believers that have gone before us – ALL of them.

Some of us have committed crimes that may not be known. Some of us have committed sins that we may believe no one knows about – sins committed “in the dark”, behind closed doors. God knows everything. God sees all. God is with us during every breath, every heartbeat and every step taken. Those sins were not committed “in the dark” nor behind closed doors.

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Luke 8:17 KJB

Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. Luke 12:3 KJB

It might be best to confess, in the presence of God, to another human being what has happened and what has been said or done. Otherwise, we move a little closer to remaining in hell.

God, in the name of Jesus Christ, has been coming for us our entire life. He has been with us from before the beginning. So has the devil. When do we awaken? When do we turn to see the face of love, the face of beauty and the face of truth and stop listening to what is untrue, what is ugly and what is hate filled?

But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJB

All our strength, all our knowledge and all we have, that is good, comes from God. All praise, honor and glory are His and His alone. We must trust that God, in the name of Jesus Christ, is always there in our lives and provides all that we need. We must surrender to God’s will, turn our lives and our wills over the care of God. If we aren’t doing this with, and for, God, are we doing it for the enemy?

We need to be sure about these things, we need to know. The enemy is sitting there doing his best to convince you that what is being said is a lie. The difference is, what is being said is nothing more than a reflection of what is written in the Holy Bible, the inspired Word of God.

that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10 KJB

We get all our power and strength from God. If we seek His will, first, in all that we do, God is faithful in all His promises for our lives. We belong to Him if we chose Him, first.

The enemy wants to give us “stuff” also. Pride, lust, anger, envy, sloth, greed and gluttony. When the devil pumps us up with pride and then makes us angry because it didn’t happen it is always based in fear – fear is nothing more than False. Evidence. Appearing. Real.

We can always come home to the Father. We can always turn our lives around and give our lives to God. Why would we want to delay something so beautiful there are no words that could even come close to describing the depths that it reaches? Don’t let another minute go by without knowing that you will be living in a miserable cesspool of death and darkness instead of going to heaven for all eternity.

If you’ve never said the sinners prayer, this is Psalm 51 and may be the best version. This was written by David, a sinner, who was after the heart of the Father.

1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness:
According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions:
And my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight:
That thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity;
And in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
And in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness;
That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins,
And blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God;
And renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence;
And take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
And uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways;
And sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation:
And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips;
And my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it:
Thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion:
Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering:
Then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. Psalm 51 – KJB
