Arise; For The Lord Has Delivered…
Our mind can be a very, very dangerous neighborhood. It is the place where most of our fear lives. It is the place where the devil whispers a lie and transforms our heart. When a person hears in their mind awful words, phrases or sees images of things that don’t exist, who would plant such things as these in our mind? It is, for sure, not the Lord, our God.
The devil loves to steal our identity and he is so accomplished at his role that we usually hand it over without a fight, without much pushback and without prayer. When this happens we usually do not seek, ask and knock, first, to stand firm in the Strength and Power of Jesus Christ. We simply allow our heart to instantaneously harden and begin living in the identity the devil has just assigned us – idiot, moron, terrible_____, unfaithful_____, addict, fanatic and the endless list of new identities continues from there. Which one will be next?
And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. ~ Judges 7:12 KJB

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
We build up images, thoughts and phrases in our mind to the point of seeing a large group of camels and the devil tells us they are numbered like sand by the sea side. We fall for it, but what is the reality? Where does our Strength come from; who is in charge of our life; who do we rely upon for guidance?
And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.
And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian. ~ Judges 7:13-15 KJB
When the Lord speaks to us, and we follow His Word, the images, thoughts and phrases from the devil vanish. Those from the devil become as vapor that dissipates in the wind. The Word of God tells us to march in the Power of the Lord, stand firm upon our Christ Identity and the Counsel of the Holy Spirit in order to cage the enemy. It is simple, but at times, it is not easy.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
