Child Salvation

Child Salvation from CBN.com

Children are attracted to the good things of God and are open to confessing sin and accepting Christ. Read through this teaching with a child.

Do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior? Do you want to? The Bible says that if you ask Jesus to save you, He will (Romans 10:13). Jesus came into the world to give us a new, eternal life that will never end (John 3:16). And He came to give us a good life here on earth (John 10:10). Even though we will still have problems sometimes, He will always be with us and meet our needs.

Read these Bible verses. They tell of God’s plan for you to be saved. If a friend or your brother, sister or parents are with you, you can read them together.

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

“Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 3:16)

“If we say that we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves, and refusing to accept the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he can be depended on to forgive us and cleanse us from every wrong.” (1 John 1:8,9)

“…But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them.” (John 1:12)

“Look! I have been standing at the door and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

If you are not sure what the verses mean, ask someone who is already a Christian to help you understand. Your Sunday school teacher or church pastor will be glad to help.
