By The Will Of God…

By The Will Of God…

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. ~ Ephesians 1:1-2 KJB

By who’s will is Paul, no longer Saul, by who’s will is Paul an Apostle? By God’s will, through Jesus Christ, not his own free will. Who’s strength is carrying Paul, no longer Saul, by who’s strength is Paul moving about? God’s strength through Jesus Christ, not his own.

The men in recovery that are learning about Jesus Christ, salvation, redemption and being truly born again are also learning about strength, freewill and God’s will. There’s one fella that seems to think that God’s will will use his will to make changes. The last time it was reported there was no “Help Wanted” sign at the Pearly Gates or anywhere else in the Kingdom of Heaven. God does not need our help, we need His help, His strength and His will to change our lives and to do anything. We need God’s will, through Jesus Christ, just to breathe. It is His breath in our lungs that give us life. So, no, God does not need our help, we need His.

Was it Saul who changed his name to Paul? No, no it wasn’t. Who has the power to change their name in the Kingdom of God? God, through Jesus Christ, has the power. We do not. Saul could not do the things that Paul was commissioned to do and Paul would not do the things Saul was doing.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
