I Am In The Father…

I Am In The Father…

Jesus is Lord. Jesus is God and God is Jesus and They are us and we are Them.

What Jesus teaches us as He tells the world that we are all One and the Father dwells in Jesus and Jesus dwells in the Father.

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. ~ John 14:10 KJB

Jesus also explains that we are in Him. God and Jesus dwell in us and we dwell in Them becomes so clear, so beautifully described in John 17:20-26 that it would be a difficult task not to understand what is said.

Do we believe we did anything? Do we believe we are capable of doing something that is not sanctioned by God through Jesus Christ and implemented by the Holy Spirit then placed in our hand? If a person believes they alone did something, anything, they are already living separated from God through their self-serving, self-centered pride.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. ~ John 14:12-14 NKJB

We can’t even breathe of our own accord. It is the breath of God that allows our lungs to fill with oxygen and the strength of Jesus Christ to pump our lungs in and out.

So. We give the glory to Jesus Christ for whatever works that need to be – including breathing! – and He makes it happen through the Father. The work is done through Jesus Christ, in our empty vessel, as we sing praise to Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God. Oh, by the way, those of us that believe in Jesus will do the same work as Jesus did and greater works than these we will do in the name of Jesus Christ because He will go to His Father. If a person can’t get excited about Jesus they need read John 14 and John 17. If that doesn’t work, well, good luck.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
