Mike is a truck driver who spent a few weeks in the heart of the Freedom Trucker Convoy. He opened the window of his truck each morning and unexpectedly kept being told heartbreaking stories of families torn apart, and people facing discrimination and job loss over Canada’s totalitarian health edicts.

He said the range of emotions was like a roller coaster. The stories made him sad and brought him to tears because he did not realize how terrible things had gotten for people – the restrictions, the mandates, and the simple fear that pervaded each of their hearts.
Mike found that he was on the frontlines for the simple task of listening. Hearing these many stories totally confirmed for him what this protest truly was all about: freedom.
Yet, Mike, the huge number of fellow truckers, and the well over 100,000 freedom-loving citizens who came and went in Ottawa over the weeks he was there, received skewed coverage in the mainstream media intended to demonize them.
They saw that the news stories every morning gave the usual, dishonestly low estimates of numbers there and cruelly painted them as angry and violent. Lies, all lies.
Justin Trudeau decided to pick a fight with the truckers and their supporters, ridiculously smearing them as “racists” and “Nazis.” The mainstream media covered the Freedom Convoy with the exact same malice. Trudeau would not at least talk to the truckers, or send a representative – because he disagreed with them. What kind of a prime minister is that?
It seemed like the government sent a script that that all the news media were ordered to use in exchange for the massive taxpayer bailouts Trudeau has been giving the Canadian news industry that was dying because few trust what they report anymore.
Almost none of the major media even attempted to put themselves in the shoes of the truckers, to give them and their cause a fair shake.
Except for LifeSiteNews, that is.
We made several trips to downtown Ottawa to bring you exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of these courageous patriots. We let the protesters speak for themselves. We presented their thoughts to you without the smug, disdainful editorializing of the mainstream media. We published the full videos of their press conferences.
