But Where Is The Lamb…
When do we come to believe in our heart? For most it comes through pain. When we suffer and have nothing left to give is a point a lot of us reach before our belief in Jesus Christ is born. Pain is a great motivator. Loss is a great motivator. When we come to realize that we began with nothing and the pain of entering into this world we can see how nothing is what we have always possessed. Jesus Christ is all we truly possess. He possesses us because He chooses to and we possess Him for the same reason.
Casual belief is not sufficient. We discover how weak our belief was when the pain of suffering shows up at our doorstep and engulf our heart in a way that we never imagined possible. When we see the beauty of God within our most painful situations, usually in the rearview mirror, we draw nearer to God all the more.
Abraham arose early in the morning and prepared to lead Isaac, his only son that he had prayed for, begged God to give him and was nothing short of a miracle child born to Sara at age 70, Abraham prepared the items necessary for the sacrifice and the travel. Isaac was to be placed on an alter as a burnt offering to God. Three days later Abraham and Isaac arrived at their destination. Abraham must have been in pain and suffering beyond our imagination, beyond our comprehension as he walked toward their destination. However, he remained true to God. Abraham trusted God with all he had, otherwise, he would’ve never made this journey. With each step taken the reality of what was happening must’ve become heavier and heavier. Or did it become lighter and lighter?

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? ~ Gensis 22:6-7 KJB
Most of us, if not all of us, will never know of this situation in our lives. However, we will know of pain on levels we did not know existed. We will suffer in ways we never thought possible. This is when our belief is born and strengthened. This is when God, and the beauty of God, show up in our lives in ways that beyond all understanding. We don’t know what we don’t know until it is revealed to us. Only God can do that. It is only our faith, trust and belief in Jesus Christ that opens this door.
Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me.~ John 14:1 KJB
We are born again, a second helping in life. The Way, The Truth and The Life are waiting. Walk in Light and let that Light shine brightly through our hearts, through the words we speak and let others bathe in His glory they see in us.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
