That Ye May Prove…

Keeping the Greatest Commandment may be the biggest challenge we will ever face. When we can do this with every step, with every breath, every thought in our mind and with every beat of our heart we will in fact be walking with the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus Christ. The key is with every step, with every breath, every thought in our mind and with every beat of our heart – that’s where the challenge lies.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is , Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. ~ Mark 12:29-31 KJB

Once we live this way we are in fact walking in the Spirit. It could be for this reason that God knew we would need help, in everyday that we walk the earth that He reached the conclusion we would need our mercies renewed every morning. This may be why Paul wrote in his letter to the Romans that our mind need be renewed and our lives transformed, otherwise, we would not stand a chance in breaking free from our flesh and walk in the Spirit.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:2 KJB

As our mind is transformed and our mercies made new the Light of the World, not only begins shining brighter through our heart,  but is seen in our words, felt in our actions and shared through prayer and supplications. Our step becomes lighter and the Love of the Spirit pours out of us, as our soul overflows with joy and rejoicing in praise and worship of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. ~ Galatians 5:25-26 KJB

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
