ReNewing Of Your Mind…
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. ~Romans 12:2 NKJB
When we have a “conservation” with ourself who do we think is asking the question and providing the answers? Could it be the one who wants us to conform to this world as he accuses and deceives? “You can’t do that.” “You’re right, who do I think I am?” “You’re a moron!” You’re right, I am a moron.” Sound familiar? Ever have this type of conversation? “You’re a terrible parent.” Yes, yes I am a terrible parent!”
Fear will always attract what ever information is needed to legitimize it’s existence. ~Bill Johnson
What if we renewed our mind and prove the will of God is driving our life? What if the conversation went something like this… “You can’t do that.” “Yes, I can, it’s easy because God is leading the way and He is with me.” Or “You’re a terrible parent.” “That’s not right. My skills may not be the best, today, but with the strength of God they are improving with each passing moment.”Â

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
These are truths that God promises when we do what He ask, renew our mind at each step, with each thought, every breath we take then we are in fact prove(ing) what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. As we grow stronger in the Living Word and the Living Word comes to life in our mind, in our heart, in our spirit and in our strength we grow closer to Jesus Christ and we become more like Jesus and less like who we were and our mind is constantly renewed into the mind of Christ.
But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? ~Mark 8:17 NKJB
Maybe we should chew on this verse for a minute allow it sink deep into our soul and see what grows from this seed. This sounds a lot like what Paul would later teach in Romans 12:2 It sounds like Paul was attempting to soften the heart of those struggling in their faith and show them what Jesus Christ was teaching.
Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
