Why Quit…
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ~Hebrews 4:12 KJB
As our lives progress we make many changes . How many of you are living in the same house you were born; the same neighborhood; the same city; the same county; the same state? This is merely one example of how life continually changes and, odds are, most of the moves were planned out in advance of moving day, meaning you planned for change. If prayer was utilized and God was invited to the process then each change has a better opportunity to being exactly what you hoped for – it most certainly met God’s expectation since it’s His design.
Sometimes we look at our lives, and if things are going well, we seek God’s direction – His will – for what should come next. We should, then, immediately act upon the direction we have been given. We don’t always do that, and if your experience is like so many others, well, that didn’t work out so good.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
Why quit doing what is comfortable, known and “that’s how we’ve always done it“? Stepping outside of this we find faith – you know, faith being the substance of the things that we hope for, the things that we don’t yet see. When we quit being comfortable we must seek, ask and knock otherwise we will fail. Not only will we fail, we will fail miserably and misery will befall us.
What happens in our lives when we mix faith with our profession? What happens when we mix faith with our course of study we have endured for the past decade or more?
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. ~Hebrews 4:14-16 KJB
Sounds a lot like asking, seeking and knocking and then immediately acting upon the direction Jesus Christ provides.
So, why quit? Why wouldn’t you?
Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
