Out of Service…
We can be in service to others or be completely out of service and simply serve ourselves. Do we complete task in a posture of gratitude, servitude and selflessness or are they taxing and overbearing? We have the choice and God allows us to make this choice. We can serve Him, through other people on earth or not.
Out of service comes…gratitude
Out of service comes…beauty
Out of service comes…selflessness
Out of service comes…all of life
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ ~Matthew 25:37-40 NKJB
When we are out of service there are consequences for our lack of action. Bitterness, hatred and a host of other disrespectful and selfish postures come into play almost immediately. There is nothing good that comes from being out of service to your neighbor. Look at our selfish, self-centered and self-serving world around us. People are more interested in the next “selfie” than acknowledging the person on the sidewalk they just stepped over.

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ~Matthew 25:29-30 NKJB
Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
