A Light Has Shined…
The past several months have been a whirlwind of activity. Some good, some great and some, well, let’s say less than good. The good news, however, is, today, a less than perfect day is far better than days in the former life. The old “creature” had so few good or great days that it didn’t matter. What was deemed as great turns out was anything but. Not saying that before being saved was just a never ending string of loses, misery and unhappiness, just saying that today, Jesus Christ, shines a Light thru this vessel that illuminates the darkness in a way that makes the darkness tremble. Even when situations are going as planned, the Light is still shining, the Light can still be seen.
There has been an idea floating around for something new to start, a new seed to be planted, a new awakening to take shape. The Awakened Word or The Recovered Word. The Recovered Word was a gift from God just after moving. There is, what appears to be, a church in the backyard of the property we purchased. It has more electricity than the house, but it doesn’t have an HVAC unit, so – winter is cold, summer is hot. A couple of very easy solutions would make it a completely different place.
It’s time we all seek to plant a new seed. We all need to refresh the garden of our soul and utilize this amazing opportunity to recommit to Jesus Christ in ways we never thought of in the past. We need quiet the mind, quiet the soul and allow a grand stage for the still small voice to guide and direct our next steps. As you know, we are very big on “Steps” around here, and we should all be taking another, unchartered step into the Kingdom. Glorifying God with every breath, every word and embracing the leepers we encounter along the way.

The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.
3You have multiplied the nation
And increased its joy;
They rejoice before You
According to the joy of harvest,
As men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
For You have broken the yoke of his burden
And the staff of his shoulder,
The rod of his oppressor,
As in the day of Midian.
For every warrior’s sandal from the noisy battle,
And garments rolled in blood,
Will be used for burning and fuel of fire.
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. ~Isiah 9:2-7 NKJB
When do we start to believe? We do we embrace our belief? When do we act upon our belief?
Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
