Surrounded By The Spirit…
Walking through this life we encounter all types of people. People we want to meet, people we want to spend time with, people we want to love all over and a wide variety of other people we want to encounter on a deeper level than merely passing as ships in the night.
There are also people we would prefer not meeting. People that challenge our senses, people that walk over us, people that mean us harm and a wide variety of other people we prefer not encountering at all.
The good news, and the bad news is…we will encounter all the people described and a whole lot more. Who they are, what they are and their relationship to us, we can not control. We can only control our part of the relationship. Are we Spiritually healthy, are we Spiritually drained or are we somewhere in between?
Now is your chance to support Gospel News Network.
We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
As our days progress stopping for prayer – filling our Spiritual fuel tank – is one way to ensure that as people move about we are ready, at a moments notice to whisper or to shout…”Jesus lives in the pain.” Putting the cross before the Crown is the only way. This is when the Holy Spirit has filled our life with His presence, His redemption, His mercy and grace.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. ~1 John 4:4-8 NKJB
Either the Gospel is divine inspiration, the Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
