We Can Not Lose What Has Already Been Won…
Our victory is in His name. The devil, satan, has no dominion over us. The devil, satan, attempts to deceive us into believing he has some kind of control and we have to do certain things, when in fact nothing could be further from the Truth. It is in our best interest to do those things that are good as they come from the Father through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, but those things that are tainted we should ignore. When our heart is telling us to be weary, we should be weary.
The Bible is very clear on the existence of spiritual warfare. Peter warns “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Our adversary or enemy, the devil, refers to Satan, who is a real entity, not a mythical creature or invention. Other titles of Satan include the tempter (1 Thessalonians 3:5), the wicked one (Matthew 13:19, 38), and the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10). Source
We find that it is impossible for Jesus, our Lord and Savior, to leave us. We can not leave Him, we can turn our back to His love, mercy and grace, but we are never away from Him. He is within us, He is all around us.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~Romans 8:37-39 NKJB
This simple truth is continually forgotten and, if all goes well, we are re-mind-ed again in short order. Jesus Christ loves us for who and what we are. We are broken, misguided and seeking His Way, His Truth and His Life. This should be our focus but, sadly, we fall short. Praise God, He does not fall short.
