Under Attack…
It doesn’t take much of an opening for the enemy, the devil, lucifer, satan or whatever you call it, to get a foot-hold in our heart, spirit and mind.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

It becomes very clear when the full Armor of God has become rusty or not been fully engaged when something falls apart. We can see physical evidence of our lost ways. It’s a little different when it comes in a different form – like dreams, visions or thoughts. When our thoughts get out of line and the chink-in-the-Armor can be more easily overlooked. Overlooking one chink leads to another which leads to another and before you know it – BAM! – full on attack. Pay attention to the little things and when that chink shows up… Pray, stand up for what’s right and above all, follow Jesus. Don’t allow it to continue to fester and grow as we never know what the enemy has in mind. We know Jesus loves us, wants us to succeed and act like His children, we can’t say that about the deceiver, the liar, the prince of darkness. We don’t know what he wants of us.
