All Our Mind…
We are taught to love God with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength and with all our mind
So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ” ~Luke 10:27 NKJV
As we move through life and sin comes and, hopefully, goes it is our duty to keep our thoughts as clean / pure as possible. It is in our mind where so many of our problems begin. It is in our mind where the enemy first strikes. With a corrupt mind, the heart becomes a very, very easy target. The defenses have become weak, the enemy can begin moving about whispering in our ear (in our mind) things we know are not true but, none-the-less give them an audience. We are separating from God. (sin)
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; ~Romans 1:28 NKJV
The battlefield of the mind and heart are to protected at all times. We protect these areas of our life through prayer, constant prayer. We breathe in the Father’s Words and exhale the Beauty He deposited in our soul. We walk in the Strength He breathed into our muscles and bones. Knowing who we are, knowing and understanding our lives belong to Him, He names us, He knows us before we are in our mothers womb, why would He want us to fail? Why would He ever, ever, ever call us a moron, unworthy, unloved, confused or fearful? Our Father would never call any of us by these names, but the enemy would. We happily agree with the enemy when he calls us a “moron” – in our mind. We happily agree with the enemy when he calls us “unworthy” – in our minds. We disagree with God when He calls “great” – in our mind and heart. We disagree with God when He calls “loved and worthy” – in our mind and heart. We happily accept the negative and refuse the positive. Some of you are doing it right now.
