Jesus Loves Us All…

Jesus Loves Us All…

We don’t have to ask for His love, it is offered freely. God’s love fills us when man plants a seed in a woman and life begins. At the moment when the seed fertilizes the egg God fills us, all of us, with His love, with His heart, with His mind and with His soul. As soon as we arrive outside the mothers womb we begin to hear the enemy.

Wha’t amazing is how Jesus Christ spells out, clearly, who God loves and who God doesn’t love. If you will, which “team” God supports.

And you He made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. ~Ephesians 2:1-3 NKJV

No where in these passages is a “team” described. No where in these passages is one group of His children singled out, no individuals singled out and no one that claims anything about themselves is singled out. No, not one “team” is identified. What is identified is sin – our separation from God, trespasses, disobedience, lust and wrath. This separation is what bins us all together. This is what helps us to see everyone through God’s eyes, see His children with His vision, not ours.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. ~Ephesians 2:4-10 NKJV

What does this mean to us, today? Did we somehow lose all our trespasses? Has sin been eradicated? Has Jesus Christ returned to make the world whole? Christ Jesus lives in us, the Holy Spirit walks with us and God showers our lives with His mercy and grace. Not because we are so awesome, but because we are far less than awesome and because of His mercy and grace He makes us whole.

Once again we find that “we” are all in this together. We find “us” are one people – one “team”, Team Jesus. Jesus doesn’t look around and begin removing people saying that He doesn’t know them or recognize them. No, Jesus looks around and sees His children, all them as His children. He sees some of us struggling, with their Christ identity more than others but Jesus Christ still sees His children as His children and He loves each one equally. We all fly different flags, some Christian, some Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, right down the line, but all He sees is His children that are living outside the greatest gift of their life and we, the Army of God, are sent to spread the Gospel, the Good News, to all with ears to hear and eyes to see.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. ~Ephesians 2:19-22 NKJV

We are all one, only one, in the eyes of Christ Jesus.
